Montco continues to be a community of people finding a way to make a difference in everyone’s life, no matter how big or small. Lansdale’s own, Knights 4 Life non-profit foundation is no exception. This small group’s goal is to support individuals and families who are experiencing a tremendous loss, or declining health. Sponsoring fundraising events, and having a partnership with the North Penn school district allows them to succeed in reaching out to families and making a difference.
Their fundraising events vary from Wiffleball tournaments to Beef and Beer to cocktails and drinks; and all of these benefit families and individuals that need a helping hand. Knights 4 Life upcoming event is A Knight For a Cause with a portion of the proceeds and donations going to the a local family in need.
The Wolfe family was recently in a horrific car accident which tragically left the wife unable to return to work, while the husband took a leave of absence as to help their children, one of whom is currently still in the hospital due to injuries sustained from the accident. While her progress has been positive and she continues to heal, the family is still in need of help. The community has continued to show their support through their Go Fund Me page, and with the Knights 4 Life event coming up, the love and support this family feels has no bounds.
The Knights 4 Life event, A Knight For a Cause, will be held at the PineCrest Country Club on January 29th, 2016. With music, dancing, food and drinks what more could you ask for? Maybe helping out a family in need, and that’s exactly what this event will do. With proceeds and donations all helping the Wolfe family and enjoying your night out, it’s a win for everyone.
