Each January, Montco Happening kicks the year off with a bang by hosting the most important people’s choice contest in Montco County– The Happening List®! With thousands of local people, places, and businesses competing in the most competitive Happening List contest ever, a select few have taken home top honors as Winners and Finalists in the 2021 Montco Happening List Competition.

This year Montco Happening list bestowed awards and bragging rights to our top local business owners. Throw a pandemic at us- no problem. Kyle and Jenna Fry, are the husband-and-wife team behind Fry’s Catering & Scratch Kitchen Food Truck. They are devoted to providing their clients simple, honest food made from scratch.

The Fry’s decided to start their catering business in 2016, shortly after they married. The couple has built their business together as a team. Kyle is the talent, runs the kitchen and all things culinary while Jenna handles behind the scene duties such as event planning, directing operations and client relations.

Fry’s Catering offers a variety of menus for all occasions, from corporate functions to showers, parties, private dinners, weddings and even more! The Fry’s strive to provide unique options that make a lasting impression on their clients.

Over the past 5 years not only have they built a growing clientele but they’ve expanded their family along the way. With the birth of their son Ayden in 2018 followed by the birth of their daughter Mackenzie in 2019 and the arrival of their food truck, Scratch Kitchen, in February 2020.

The couple used the food truck only 3 times before Covid hit. Since social gatherings were out of the picture, they needed to pivot and adjust their original business plan.
