Within Montgomery County, an abundance of tree farms and pop-up tree locations exist to make the tree hunting experience both special and memorable. Whether you and your family prefer walking through the field and chopping your own tree by hand, purchasing a pre-cut tree from the lot or picking it up curbside, there is an option to meet all needs this holiday season. Here are some of Montgomery County’s Christmas tree farms:
Hague’s Christmas Trees
755 Forty Foot Road, Hatfield, PA 19440
Multiple options are provided at Hague’s to ensure customers receive the specific Christmas tree of their choice. You can choose and cut your own tree and make it an experience. They offer a variety of trees which include Nordman Fir, Scotch Pine, White Pine, White Spruce and Blue Spurce. Choose and cut is open from November 29th while supplies last. Hours are Monday-Friday from 1 pm – 5 pm and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Closed on Sundays.
Bustard’s Christmas Trees

Family owned since 1929, Bustard’s pride themselves in providing both high quality trees and personalized service! They specialize in large trees and offer Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Blue Spruce, Concolor Fir, Balsam Fir and Nordman Fir and are always cutting throughout the holiday season. To ensure the freshest trees, they are cutting throughout the holiday season.
Kenny’s Christmas Trees

At Kenny’s, trees starting at 3ft to 12ft are available for purchase. Trees can be ordered online if you choose and can be picked up curbside, delivered or even set up in your home! Corkum Tree Farm

A vast selection of fresh-cut, PA-grown trees are available for purchase or there is an option to cut your own! Balled and burlap trees are also available that can be planted after Christmas. In the newly renovated barn, you will find wreaths, swags, greens, holly, grave blankets, evergreen roping and Fair Trade Ornaments. Tree shaking and drilling is available at this location. NEW THIS YEAR: 3934 Mill Road, Collegeville, PA is open for choose and cut only on Saturday and Sundays from 9 am – 5 pm. Not open on weekends.

Holly Days Nursery, Garden Center & Landscaping

Holly Days sells real, fresh-cut evergreen trees ranging from $59-$295. You’ll also find Christmas tree stands, fresh live roping, grave blankets, wreaths and other holiday decor.
Kenny Alexander’s Christmas Trees

Family owned and operated as a seasonal store, Kenny Alexander’s Christmas Trees is proud and excited to back for the season! Offering Christmas décor and trees ranging in size from 2ft to 13ft, offerings include Douglas Fir and Fraser, plus many more! Photos with Santa at Plymouth Meeting Mall

Santa will be in the Fountain Court to capture this year’s holiday memories. Reservations are encouraged but not required. Digital photo packages are available with options to purchase prints and a family portrait. Santa hours are Monday – Friday, 12 pm – 8 pm (break time 3-4 pm), Saturday 10 am – 8 pm (break time 1-2 pm & 4:30-5:30 pm) and Sunday, noon – 6 pm (break time 2:30 – 3 pm).
Santa at Willow Grove Park Mall
When: Now until December 21st, 4 pm – 7 pm
Where: Willow Grove Park Mall, Macy’s Court, 2500 Moreland Road, Willow Grove, PA or virtually from anywhere!
Visit with special friends in the family photo area at Santa’s Tree Farm in Macy’s Court every Tuesday through December 21st from 4-7 pm. Reservations are encouraged but not required. Photo packages are available for purchase. Character schedule is as follows: December 7 – Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, December 14 – The Grinch and December 21st – Anna and Elsa.
Santa Photos at King of Prussia Mall

Holiday Pet Pictures with Santa or The Mensch on the Bench at Cool Dog Pet Gear
When: December 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 & 17, 6 pm – 8 pm
Where: Cool Dog Pet Gear, The Shops at Valley Square, 1585 Main Street, Warrington, PA
Santa and the Mensch will be at the Shops at Valley Square on select dates in December. There is no charge for photos, but it is kindly requested that a donation be made to Santa/Mensch’s chosen rescue: Sam’s Hope. Photos are taken with their/your cell phone. After your photo, stop at the front desk to spin the prize wheel where your pup can win a % off your purchase, free treats, toys, etc.
Macy’s Santaland at Home Virtual Holiday Experience

Holiday Season at Peddler’s Village

Peddler’s Village is always a popular holiday destination in Bucks County! Shop unique specialty shops, enjoy the lights, and check out all of the holiday festivities. Santa will make appearances throughout the season at Giggleberry Fair and special dining events. Click here for more details. Peddler’s Village also hosts a Holly Jolly Weekend on December 4th and 5th with Santa Parades starting at 1:30 pm both days. On December 10th, Santa visits Sweet Occasions and will be there for photos and reading a Christmas story to the children. Gingerbread decorating workshops are on December 16th from 5 pm – 8 pm.
Wild Lights at Elmwood Park Zoo

Elmwood Park Zoo’s favorite family tradition, Wild Lights, returns this holiday season. A Longwood Christmas

Outdoors, the fire and ice theme continues with a half-million lights dazzle and delight, from wintery hues to a luminaria display that sets the Large Lake aglow. Holiday Tours at Historic Pennypacker Mills

One of Montgomery County’s most spectacular historic houses will dazzle you from the front door through the lavish first floor, entertaining venues to the more private rooms for family and friends. You’ll be warmly greeted and taken on a very personal tour to enjoy Christmas traditions and decorations. Each year, there is something new to discover about Christmas, when Governor Samuel Pennypacker and his family lived in the home. Hear about the decorations, wrapped presents and how the Pennypackers celebrated the holidays.
Christmas at Colonial Gardens

Skippack Village Holiday Workshops

Participate in Skippack Village Winter Container Workshops. Create your own festive winter container for your front doorstep. You’ll use a variety of evergreens, berries and other seasonal items for your design. Bring your own gardening gloves and pruners or purchase them at the workshop with a discount. Cost is $55 plus tax. Pricing is a la carte for materials and soil if you bring your own container.
Carnival of Lights

Where: Gilberstville Community Ambulance, 91 Jackson Road, Gilbertsville
Walk through over 250,000 holiday lights and figurines filling over 11 acres of ground, all set in time to your favorite holiday music. Ride the amusement rides with admission. Swing through the air like Santa’s Sleigh or ride the Ferris Wheel with over 10,000 lights. This year features even more rides for all ages. Visit with Santa and bring your Christmas list. There will be holiday and carnival food, games and a marketplace. New Year’s Fireworks will be held on December 30th.
Variety’s Holiday Lane

Where: Variety – The Children’s Charity, 2950 Potshop Road, Worcester, PA
From December 1-4, Variety will transform its 77-acre campus into a winter wonderland. This exciting event includes themed decorated cabins, a holiday craft bazaar, live entertainment, strolling characters, complimentary hot coca, various children’s activities, a warm bonfire, and festive outdoor decorations. Walk or drive along the festive Holiday Lane.
The 22nd Annual 92.5 XTU Toy Truck Parade
When: Saturday, December 11, 2021
Join Philadelphia-based country music radio station, 92.5 XTU at Xfinity Live! for their annual toy truck parade! They will be collecting toys for the Liberty USO and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Camden County.
