Holiday Parade in Souderton

The Souderton Holiday Parade is a town-favorite annual event where residents line the streets and partake in the festive spirit and share joy with each year. This heartwarming tradition has been enchanting locals and visitors alike for years and has become a true hallmark of the holiday season in our picturesque town. The parade features a vibrant and diverse array of participants, including local schools, community and faith organizations, businesses, emergency service volunteers and community members participating “just for the fun of it”. And, of course, Santa Claus makes an appearance on a fire truck! It all comes together to create a magical spectacle.
Towamencin Township Holiday Lights Festival
December 1 & 2, 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Take a whimsical stroll through Towamencin’s winter wonderland of lights and holiday cheer. The annual Tree Lighting will take place from 6:00pm-6:15pm on Saturday. FREE pictures with Santa will be from 6pm-8pm on Saturday. Hop on the horse drawn surreys that take you around the park to see all the light displays and decorated trees by the local girl scout troops. The local boy scouts will be handing out FREE hot chocolate, cookies, and roasting marshmallows. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season by visiting our volunteer acts in the amphitheater.

Get in the Holiday spirit with Christmas at the Gilbertsville Farm. We will have Christmas music in the maze, colorful lights, barnyard animals and more! In our KidZone play area you will find a Christmas light maze with thousands of lights to navigate through. To get the best experience we encourage coming at night time to see all of the lights.
We are open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sundays Noon – 10 p.m. The last maze entry of the day is 9 p.m. Bring flashlights if you plan on doing the corn maze at night.
Holiday Village

Upper Merion Township’s annual Holiday Village event is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd from Noon until 3PM behind the Township building in the lower level lot/park. The event is free to the public, dog-friendly, and family friendly! The event will include a variety of craft vendors, an inflatable, a gingerbread house display and contest, live performances, s’mores by a fire, a caricaturist, food vendors, a beer garden provided by Stolen Sun Brewery, a wine garden provided by KOG Hill Winery, a visit from a special guest (hint: they love cookies and milk!), and much more! This will be a great event for Holiday shopping and celebrations with the family!

The Souderton Tree Lighting, presented by Univest, is a cherished tradition that brings our tight-knit community together to celebrate the magic of the holiday season. The festive atmosphere of this event is evoked by the holiday spirit of Souderton families and business leaders. The evening brings the community together as families, friends and neighbors gather to celebrate.
For the first time, this year, the tree lighting will take place in the Univest courtyard located at the intersection of Broad St. and Washington Ave., where the beautifully decorated tree is to stand tall, adorned with twinkling lights and shimmering ornaments.
Santa will be there to greet the children (and kids at heart)! The Salvation Army “Canteen” truck will be in attendance, serving warm beverages for all to enjoy. We encourage attendees to enjoy taking photos in front of the beautifully lit tree and with Santa, creating lasting memories.
