In between spring cleaning and gearing up for back-to-school is a great time to check out these home cleanup and safety and security checks. Whether protecting your children from hazardous materials and loose car seats or keeping your personal identity secure, these collection and safety check events will keep you coasting through the rest of the year.

Community Paper Shredding Events

Trucks from Shred One Security Corp. will be on site to shred confidential documents for Montgomery County residents as a free service to help avoid the dangers of identity theft. Offered in cooperation with the Montgomery County Commissioners the events are free and will be held rain or shine. Residents may bring two bags or boxes per car to the site. Waste should not contain any plastic, bags, cardboard or any metal other than staples or paperclips attached to documents. The events run from 9am to 12pm, but trucks will leave once they are full.
