Karin and Bruce Stocking of the WS Hancock Society will discuss the art and symbolism behind headstones, old-time funeral practices and history of some of the “residents.” There will be a 12 pm tour as well as torchlight evening tours beginning at 6 pm and continuing every half hour until 8:30 pm. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes. Bring a flashlight or lantern for evening tours. Join in the pre-season fun while learning all about some of the animals often associated with Halloween during this presentation on Wed., Oct. 25 at 1 pm. Listen to a seasonal story and make some spooky crafts. There may even be a trick or treat! The program is for children ages 3 and older with an accompanying adult.
