It’s that time of year again, Ambler Restaurant Week is back! If you are familiar with Ambler Restaurant Week, then you know you don’t want to miss out on this fabulous week of dining. Scheduled for January 20-27, it is a great way to welcome in the new year!
Ambler restaurants, old and new, are looking forward to seeing you in town. Participating restaurants include new kid on the block and Best of Philly award winner, Forest & Main Brewing Company, as well as the beloved pioneers of Amblers revitalization, Trax Cafe and KC’s Alley, plus many, many more.
In addition to Ambler’s wonderful array of restaurants, several other restaurants in surrounding areas will be participating as well. This list includes past participants such as Fort Washington favorites Cantina Feliz and Zakes Cafe, and new this time around is Blue Bell Inn. Although Blue Bell Inn has been in business since 1743, it recently established an Ambler connection when owners Kevin Clib and Scott Dougherty, of Bridget’s fame, took the reigns this past summer. According to Clib, “Ambler Restaurant Week is always an exciting time for us in Ambler, and we are thrilled to have our latest endeavor be a part of it!”
You can expect more than a dozen area restaurants to offer mouth watering menus, some with an optional beverage pairing and perhaps even a lunch menu or two! There is cuisine to suit every palate, from Italian, to Indian, Mexican, and even Portuguese. Ambler Main Street volunteer and organizer, Allison Wolf, promises that “You will not be disappointed!”
This eagerly anticipated week of culinary bliss is only held twice a year, courtesy of Ambler Main Street, so if you don’t make it in January, you’ll have to wait until July! While you’re enjoying dinner in town, be sure to visit Ambler’s wonderful boutiques, specialty shops, exciting playhouse and theater!
