Caregiver Support Group

The Alzheimer’s Association’s Caregiver Support Groups are designed to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. They help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems. The groups encourage caregivers to maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia.

Audubon Bird Town Bird Walk on the Pennypack Trail

Meet at the Welsh Road/Terwood Road parking area for the Pennypack Trail.  This is one of the regular third-Tuesday-of-the-month morning bird walks that are led by members of the Wyncote Audubon Society.  Explore the Pennypack Trail in the area of the Bethayres Swamp, an official Audubon IBA (Important Bird Area).  Look for resident winter birds and early spring migrants.  All are welcome, both new birders and those with experience.  Bring binoculars if you have them.  Pre-registration is preferred, but not required.  Ages: adults and children 12 and up.
