Presented by Green Wolf’s Village Barn Shoppes

We are excited to announce the return of Bunny Barnes (www.bunnybarnes.com) as part of the many FREE live performances during this year’s First Friday season.

Bunny Barnes, one of the region’s most sought after Acoustic Instrumental Fingerstyle Guitarists, will play on June 7, 2019 from 6pm – 9pm inside Green Wolf’s galleria of specialty of businesses. Barnes will have CD’s available for sale and signing which we are sure you will want to add to your collection. So, don’t miss this evening with one of the area’s finest talents.

ABOUT BUNNY BARNES:
Bunny Barnes first played guitar at age 16. By age 17, she was teaching folk and ragtime picking at Music Masters Studio in Southampton, PA. She was performing by the age of 18 with various bands. Though she continued to play throughout the years, performing took a back seat while she pursued her career teaching German in public school.

In 2004, she started her solo career in clubs and restaurants in the Bucks and Montgomery County areas. Between 2004-2006 she could be found at Normandy Farm Coleman Restaurant and Richlandtown Inn singing and playing popular favorites. But in 2007, a bout with vocal cord cancer cut her singing career short.

In 2008, with the encouragement of her teacher and mentor, world famous guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, she decided to let the guitar be her voice. She began focusing on fingerstyle instrumental guitar music. Today Bunny can be found playing her own sweet, relaxing instrumental arrangements of pop, folk, rock, standards, oldies, ragtime and blues tunes at the Green Fork in North Wales, The Mill (Kulpsville), the Zen Den Coffee House (Doylestown), Bucks County Brewery (Pipersville) & Chimayo Gallery (Perkasie).

Barnes plays for private parties at various local restaurants and homes. She is currently working on her second instrumental album and hopes to have it released by December 2020. You can find her playing on YouTube with the brilliant guitarists Tommy Emmanuel, Martin Taylor, Laurence Juber, Frank Vignola & Vinny Raniolo.
