Songwriters in The Round
May 13 @ 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm

May 13th: Songwriters in the Round Concert at Jillian’s Café inside Conshohocken United Methodist

We are thrilled to have Denise Moser’s Songwriters in the Round returning to Jillian’s Cafe! Join singer songwriters Denise Moser, Tracy Colletto, Lisa Bigwood for an intimate evening of original songs.

Check out the artists below:
Denise Moser http://denisemosermusic.com/
Denise Moser is a singer/songwriter, and a writer of custom songs and flash fiction. She has the unique gift of being both achingly insightful and poignantly clever. Her songs have been compared with the early work of Joni Mitchell, Kate Wolf and Dar Williams.
Songs from Denise’s albums, Bright Side Up and Here Right Now, have been played on various traditional and internet radio stations, including WXPN in Philadelphia. In response to Here Right Now, No Depression’s website called her “the Norman Rockwell songwriter.”
“Denise’s songs shine a mindful light on the everyday things of our lives, reflecting on their deeper meanings. Her voice is direct, honest, lovely and she leaves you feeling like you’ve found a new friend.” (Anne Hills, singer/songwriter)
Tracy Colletto (http://tracycollettomusic.com/) is back, too!
Tracy is a singer/songwriter whose poetic and story-telling lyrics weave into an eclectic range of melodies, from orchestrated ballads to rock anthems. Her delivery is straightforward and vulnerable and with an emotive, versatile range.
Tracy’s clear voice with its versatile range and emotions, cuts through to grab the audience’s attention. She wants to affect her audience in a positive way, even if the subject matter may be hard to swallow. Her music exposes the fears and dreams we all share. “Tracy Colletto’s music is a powerful symphonic blend of piano-based pop with authentic lyrics and a voice that is unique, yet somehow familiar.” Bree Noble #1 Award Winning Women of Substance Radio & Podcast
Lisa Bigwood: http://lisabigwoodmusic.com/
Lisa claims she was born to be a songwriter, and that’s probably true. Crossroads magazine said in a review, “…one gets the sense that the music she’s creating is an insistent force that she could no more hold back than a passerby could resist listening…”
Her first two studio albums were very nearly Grammy nominees, each in the categories of Best Contemporary Folk Album and Album of the Year. They made her a Telluride Troubadour Finalist, Kerrville Newfolk Finalist, Chris Austin Memorial Songwriting winner at The Merle Watson Festival, and took her around the country showcasing her songs.
Her music is being played on folk radio from New Haven to Cleveland to Chicago to Salt Lake City to Santa Cruz…fans and folk DJ’s are buzzing about the third studio album, scheduled for release this spring.
Pressed to define and describe and categorize her music, she struggles. Finally, she decides: “Warrior Folk. I sing of the battles and of the feasts, of everyday life in the Real America that you know and I know. I sing of why, given all I’ve personally seen, I still want to get up in the morning.”

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.
