The non-profit Collegeville Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is hosting Collegeville’s 2nd Holiday House Tour on Sunday, Dec. 7th from 1pm to 5 pm. Guests of this local tour will be welcomed into eight of Collegeville’s most interesting and unique homes to view custom architecture as well as various styles of interior design. Much like last year, this year’s tour will contain a selection of both historic properties and newer homes.
Each house tour reservation also includes admission to the House Tour Reception from 5pm to 6 pm at a local venue which will be announced soon. Tour goers can warm up, enjoy appetizers and refreshments and participate in a Silent Auction.
Cost of registration for the tour and reception is $30 per person, and $35 on the day of the event. For information or to register, simply visit www.collegevilledevelopment.org or call Rachael Morrison at 610 454 1050 or e-mail her at [email protected] Once individuals are registered for the tour they will be mailed a tour book describing each of the homes, a map with all the home locations, and a paper bracelet to wear that identifies them as a participant. On the day of the tour, individuals can visit the homes in any order between 1pm and 5pm.
Funds raised from the tour benefit the CEDC, whose mission is to attract new businesses to Collegeville, to add meaningful value to existing businesses by promoting them and increasing their customer base, to work in partnership with Ursinus College on town-gown collaborations which benefit the college, business and residential communities, to improve the appearance of our town to make it more appealing, and to offer fun community events for Collegeville area families to make Collegeville a vibrant place to live.
