Julia’s Joy Voice Idol Competition
As a part of our Julia’s Joy Teen Empowerment Program, Pillars of Light and Love is hosting a Voice Idol Competition! Julia’s Joy was created in memory of 14 year old Julia Morath, who took her own life in April 2017, and is an inspirational program for ages 11-19. Sessions are held several times per month at the Empowering U Center in Trappe, PA. Pillars of Light and Love created this program to encourage and empower teens to better manage stress, and to live happier, healthier lives. Over 40 teens and tweens auditioned for a spot in the competition, and 20 were chosen to compete in our live shows for the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000!
In addition to the performances of our Top 20 contestants, the audience will also be treated to performances by our judges, and Kaitlyn Carolina Myers, who will be performing an original song written for Julia, entitled “An Angel is Born”. Watch the Top 20 compete on January 14th. The Top 10 will go on to compete on January 21st and we will end with a spectacular finale of the Top 5 on February 3, 2018 where a winner will be named!
