About Kisses For Kyle

Kisses For Kyle is a 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization entering its 16th year helping families throughout the Philadelphia region whose children are battling childhood cancer. It has paid several thousand bills over the years to help with financial emergencies and hardships. Additionally, it assists families by providing help unique to each family’s ever changing needs. This ranges from flying a family out to be with a loved one during their final hours and funeral service, finding help to repair several thousands of dollars in car repairs, replacing appliances when they have broken down, to countless other specific immediate needs. Additionally the foundation brings families together throughout the year to look forward to special occasions with other individuals going through a similar battle.

About Kyle

In 1998, Kyle Snyder was just three weeks shy of his second birthday when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. After a brave but brief eight-month fight, he lost his life to cancer. In 2001, his mother Sharon founded The Kisses for Kyle Foundation to honor Kyle’s memory and to assist families in the Delaware Valley region who are battling childhood cancer.

One in every 285 children will develop cancer. While we cannot take away this diagnosis, we can help alleviate extra stresses by providing financial assistance and special experiences the entire family can cherish. It is our mission to make a positive impact on local families fighting the same fight the Snyders fought, and in Kyle’s beautiful memory.
