The art exhibition includes not only water colors but pastel, acrylic, graphite, gouache, charcoal, pen & ink, colored pencil and hand pulled prints.  Founded in 1900, the PWCS focuses on artists using aqueous media.

The first exhibit was held at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.  Since then, various appropriate locations have been home for the art show each year.  This year it will be at the Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pa.  The exhibition has an international reputation for displaying some of the most creative artwork by a select group of artists.
