For many, perusing craft fairs and art festivals has become a favorite fall activity. This year’s lineup is sure to please with plenty of local artisans and crafters displaying and selling their wares to those eager to get in some pre-holiday shopping. Enjoy the 5th annual Craft Marketplace at Pennypacker Mills on Sat., Sept. 16 from 9:30 am to 3 pm. Over fifty crafters and artisans are scheduled to participate. Items for sale include jewelry, paper crafts, furniture, vintage items, handmade soaps, woven garments, pottery and more. There is plenty of free parking on site and a food vendor will be available. Explore the local artisans and crafters of Souderton, Telford and their surrounding communities during Art Jam 2017 on Sat., Sept. 30 from 10 am to 5 pm. This juried art show includes work featuring glass, metal, stone, oils, wood, fabric and fiber. Enjoy a variety of food vendor options while exploring the exhibits. A Tasting Tent will also be available from 2 to 5 pm featuring local craft beers and wines for an advanced ticket fee of $30. A family friendly beer garden is also available next to the food court. With live music throughout the day and a chalk art competition for the kids, there is something here for everyone. A list of participating artists is available online.

Stroll the streets of Skippack Village during their 46th annual fine art and craft festival on Sat. & Sun., Oct. 7 and 8 from 10 am to 6 pm. Artists from around the Philadelphia region exhibit their work in ceramics, glass, wood, paper, fiber Arts, photography, jewelry as well as purveyors of handcrafted food items. Live music will fill the streets during the weekend. Plenty of food vendors and restaurants are available too as is plenty of parking throughout the village.
