The Montgomery County SPCA has been rescuing and caring for lost and unwanted animals for almost 100 years now, and they have the best kind of friends we could ever ask for!!!  The objectives for this non-profit Society are to support and maintain one or more shelters and staffs for the humane housing of stray, or abused animals.  They procure safe and loving homes by all appropriate means, and help promote humane education in every way possible.  The shelter also maintains a clinic for the health of the animals, population control, and they provide effective measures for the prevention of cruelty to all animals.  If you are looking for a new best friend, there are plenty to choose from at the SCPA.  All of these animals deserve to find their forever homes, hopefully you or someone you know might be able to help!
