Stage Company Theatre Arts is hosting a Hamilton Master Class for teens this Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m at Martin Saints Classical High School in Oreland. Hamilton’s King George III, Peter Matthew Smith will teach the class and will focus on audition techniques, specifically how they pertain to singing auditions. Students who wish to “audition” should bring a CD with an accompaniment track (no vocals) from a Broadway show. No iphones or ipods will be able to be connected. Smith will be asking for volunteers to come up and practice auditioning and then provide feedback. Due to the time constraint, every student will not be able to audition individually. However, this will be a learning & educational experience for all the students participating in the Class. The class will also include Smith providing best practices and tips, as well as a Q&A Session. The class is $50 and is open to students in Grades 7 through 12. Register here.
