Students, families, and staff of McKinley Elementary School’s Roots and Shoots Club spent a weekend afternoon cleaning up the McWoods outdoor classroom.  Students and their families helped collect and dispose of litter. They also weeded and spread woodchips to create a path into the McWoods. The McWoods outdoor classroom is a space where McKinley students visit throughout the year to learn about environmental science and enjoy nature.
