On January 1st, Montco Happening launched the beginning of it’s 2nd annual Happening List Contest for Montgomery County. What started out with two weeks of nominations followed by 45 days of voting soon turned into tens of thousands of submissions and record breaking participation in just a few weeks time. This contest is our way of recognizing and honoring the very people, places, things and events that make this county so special…and there are plenty of them! The coolest part about the Happening List and what makes it so unique is that the results were entirely, 100% up to you. Our faithful readers, our fans and followers, our residents and local business owners. It is because of you that this contest was such a success, and now it’s time to celebrate what Montgomery County is all about in Red Carpet Fashion!
Montco Happening is honored to announce that this years Red Carpet Bash will be held at Flourtown Country Club on Thursday, May 1st from 7pm-midnight. Guests can expect to feel every bit the celebrity as they pull up to the exposed stone and red carpet entering one of Montco’s most happening venues in 2014′. This charming Country Club offers spectacular views of a meticulously managed golf course, while inside you will find a cozy fireplace, French doors and a ballroom that is ready for some serious dancing. The Red Carpet fun will also be happening outside on Flourtown Country Club’s large veranda which overlooks the course and a pond with fountain.
Join us for a fabulous red carpet cocktail party in honor of the winners & finalists of the Montco’s Happening List 2014. Tickets to Montco’s most happening event of the year will NOT be sold at the door so grab them while there’s still time! After walking the red carpet, guests will be treated to some of Montco’s best food, entertainment, and much more. A variety of beverages will be available for purchase at a cash bar. This event will be an incredible way to network and meet some of our county’s finest small business owners, professionals, residents, entertainers and more. Finalists and Winners from the Happening List contest will be presented with their awards upon arrival…after all it is your night! Tickets will sell out quick though so make sure you reserve your spot for Montgomery County’s most anticipated and awaited community event of the year.
