As the harvest season begins, it’s the ideal time to visit your local Farmer’s Market so it’s no surprise that activities at Upper Merion Township’s Farmers Market are in full swing. Prized purveyors like A’Dello Vineyard & Winery, Lavinia’s Cookies, and Peach Bottom Farm, The Ancient Kitchen, Aunt Mamie’s Italian Specialties, and The Pastry Prophet keep locals stocked with farm fresh, high quality food.
On Saturday, Augsut 13th, head over to the Market, located conveniently behind the Upper Merion Township Building, from 9am to 1pm for Health & Wellness Day. Visitors will get familiar with local businesses & organizations who are focused on keeping you healthy and fit!
Shoppers can also savor food on-side from vendors like the Grill Cheese Food Truck, Hedgehog Grill Food Truck, and Surf & Turf Food Truck.
Coupons from two assistance programs, one for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC FMNP) and one for Seniors (SFMNP) are accepted by the following vendors:
Jack’s Farm, Livengood Family Farm, Peach Bottom Farm and Quarryville Orchard.
If you’re a little short of cash, stop by the Farmers Market tent by the Entertainment Plaza. You can swipe your credit or debit card for any multiple of $10. Market Money is accepted by all our vendors, and is good for the entire 2016 season.
