The region’s first Community Supported Bakery, Bread Box & Bakery in Perkasie, provides locals with wholesome, affordable breads and pastries at both homeand work.
But their commitment to the community goes well beyond making delicious bread. Bread Box & Bakery owner J. Ryman Maxwell is passionate about creating a special relationship between his business and the community it serves. His most recent effort to do so involves supporting the Pennridge Little League, an organization that has played a central role with the youth of the community since 1954.
Pennridge Little League kicked off their spring 2016 season on April 16, 2016
Pennridge Little League is currently working to raise money for their new baseball field. To lend a helping hand, the Bread Box and Bakery will be donating $1 of every bag of baseball-themed cookies sold to their fundraising campaign, until the goal of $60,000 is met. Each bag costs $3 and is available at the bakery’s Perkasie location as well as at Little League snack-stands. Stop in to grab a bag or two…or 10!
