MaGerk’s 2nd Annual Mutts & Martinis Fundraiser!

Fort Washington’s favorite neighborhood pub is once again opening up their patio to all our four legged friends on a special day this Spring! On Sunday, April 24th, MaGerk’s Pub & Grill in Fort Washington will host their 2nd annual Mutts & Martinis event to help raise funds for Alpha Bravo Canine. This non-profit organization helps provide trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from combat-related PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). In addition, local animal rescues like Home At Last Dog Rescue, Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue Inc. Salford Rescue Inc. and MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue will be in attendance with adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes!

HOW IT WORKS
From 12pm-5pm, the pet crazy staff and management team at MaGerk’s Fort Washington will open our outside patio to all our residents and their furry best friends. During the 5 hour fundraiser, 15% of all sales generated on the patio will be donated directly back to the people, pets and vets at Alpha Bravo Canie!

Thanks to our local community of animal lovers, last years event was an enormous success with the adoption of two loving dogs. With your support, MaGerk’s Fort Washington hopes to surpass that number this year by finding homes for as many of them as we possibly can! All of the rescue dogs in attendance will be up for adoption and eagerly awaiting the chance they deserve, a warm happy home. Please help share this article with anyone who is looking for a new pup, or who would just like to hang outside at the bar with your pups while supporting an amazing cause!

This event will be a MaGerk’s signature “Dine & Donate” program which was created to help give back to our local fundraisers, charitable groups and organizations. Our community is invited to come eat, drink, socialize, and relax with their pups in a great outside atmosphere for a very genuine cause. A photographer will be on hand to capture all the best moments of you and your dogs eating, drinkning and chillin’ at the most happening restaurant in town!  #makeitmagerks   #muttsnmartinis

On top of an eclectic new menu, MaGerk’s Fort Washington will boast their unique selection of hard to find craft beers paired with an exceptional level of customer service. All customers will have their own servers on the outside patio, with plenty of water for the pups too! The day will feature giveaways, treats and prizes for categories like; Cutest Dog, Best Outfit, and Dog That Most Resembles Their Owner! Surrounding the building will be a wide array of local pet rescues, organizations, stores and businesses. RULES & REGS
All dogs attending this event must play well with others, and owners are required to have them on a leash at all times. Parents of the pets are also responsible for cleaning up after their dogs as well. Doggy bags and trash cans will be available on site. As an official “Dine & Donate” program, 15% of all money spent on the patio from 12pm-5pm will go directly to Alpha Bravo Canine.
