On November 2, 2016, Judy Owens of Pottstown won Montgomery County’s Ultimate Makeover, voted in from more than 20 finalists who competed for the chance to win the head-to-toe makeover, valued at over $5,000, including:

After the holidays it is challenging to find motivation, but making appointments and keeping commitments to exercise have been rewarding.
Before Christmas I had the opportunity to visit Skippack Village Dentistry. Dr. Hunter and his staff were friendly and put me at ease immediately. Dr. Hunter and I discussed the current state of my dental health and agreed that my goal of teeth whitening was a reasonable one. They took molds of my teeth and had custom whitening trays made. In the interim, they provided me with a whitening product called Opalesence that was a stronger version of a whitening strip. When I returned in early January to pick up my custom made trays, a member of the staff remarked at my results. Whitening is so easy and convenient. I really like the way my teeth look.
I made a commitment to attend classes as Bair Knuckles Fitness on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The workouts are challenging, but at the perfect level for me. John and Sarah are able to lead us through workouts appropriate for all members present at the class. To supplement my workouts, I try to go to my local gym for some cardio. I ran a 5K a few years ago and one of my goals is to try to do it again. I feel that all of these things are helping to get on the right track to meet that goal.
My husband Chris got me a Fitbit for Christmas, so I have enjoyed using that to keep track of exercise, diet, water intake and weight.
I am working hard and hope to see some results!
