The newest MontCo brewery, in the heart of the Perkiomen Valley, has a special mission that goes beyond crafting great beer. The owners have created a local community brewery with something unique –  a mobility and sensory friendly taproom. They describe their family as one with “autism along for the ride,” and they wanted to build something that made life a little easier for everyone.

Not only do they support jobs for individuals who are under-represented in the workforce, but also serve customers who might not feel comfortable in a traditional brewery or bar.  As such, the brewery’s special features include a sensory room, a dual height bar that is accessible to wheelchairs and a unisex family/companion bathroom including an adult-sized changing table.

As well as serving traditional lagers they also craft unique foraged & botanical ales. Check their Facebook page for days and hours.
