Winter Fest at Northern Star Farm

When: Every Saturday and Sunday through December 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 112 East 3rd Avenue, Trappe

Come out to Northern Star Farm for Christmas activities and holiday fun! This weekend, you can meet Dominick the Donkey on Saturday and visit with reindeer on Sunday. Enjoy Little Farmer Playland, Christmas Craft Village, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Candy Cane Pedal Cart Speedway and more! Free admission and parking. Activities are ticket based. You can even buy your Christmas tree from Boy Scout Troop 7155!

Carnival of Lights 

When: Select dates now through December 30
Where: Gilberstville Community Ambulance, 91 Jackson Road, Gilbertsville

Come walk through over 200,000 Holiday lights and Characters over several acres of ground all set in time to your favorite Holiday Songs. Spend time at the Gingerbread Castle and sing along with the singing Christmas Trees, & Ride the Life Sized Christmas Train around the 20′ Tree and the other rides. The Carnival of Lights provides a complete immersing experience that you and your family will remember for years to come. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children 4-12; free ages 3 and under. Admission includes the Holiday Light Walk-thru and rides. Food, games and crafts cost extra.

Masks are required. Rides will be cleaned between each use. Hand sanitizing stations available. Social distancing encouraged. All proceeds benefit the Gilbertsville Area Community Ambulance.

Brunch with Santa at Elmwood Park Zoo

When: December 12, 8:30-1:45pm; December 13, 8:30am-1:45pm; December 19, 8:30am-1:45pm; December 20, 8:30am-1:45pm; $49.95 for adults 13 and older, $39.95 for children ages 2-13, 2 and under are $10.95.
Where: Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown

Enjoy interacting with Santa, creating holiday crafts, meeting an education animal and more while feasting on a flavorful brunch buffet! Snap a photo with Santa, then explore the zoo after filling up on holiday favorites! There are 8 brunch sessions held on select days in December and reservations are required, as spaces are limited.

Santa’s Polar Bear Express

When: Now through December 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust, 64 S. Washington Street, Boyertown

This year, enjoy a calming train ride with a side of Santa and festive holiday fun! It’s never too early to indulge in familiar, comforting holiday cheer and what better way to usher in the holiday season than by hopping aboard a magical adventure train ride decked out to nines?!Hop aboard and enjoy scenic sights through frosted windows while sipping complimentary hot cocoa and noshing on Christmas cookies! All Polar Bear Express trains will provide gifts for every child and the opportunity for children to even compose their own letters to Santa!

Annual Outdoor Santa Visit with Bussinger Trains

When: Saturday, December 12 from noon to 3 p.m.
Where: Bussinger Trains, 23 West Butler Pike, Ambler

This free outdoor event will be set up keeping CDC and social distancing guidelines in mind. There will be 2 chairs set up 6 feet apart for a contact-free visit with Santa with plenty of decorations set up for great photo opps. (BYO camera!) Drop your Santa letters in the North Pole mailbox and enter the free raffle giveaway. Masks are required.

Color Me Mine Paint Me a Story: The Polar Express

When: Sunday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to noon
Where: 801 Bethlehem Pike, North Wales

Listen to the story “The Polar Express” and then paint two ornaments each! Each child will also receive a special bell, like in the story. Parents and children are encouraged to come in pajamas. Space is limited. Reserve your spot HERE. This event is $25 per child.
