It’s not quite Thanksgiving yet, but that’s not stopping Montgomery County from celebrating! We’re seeing plenty of festive things to do this weekend! Here are just a few highlights. Gingerbread House Display and Lights at Peddler’s Village 

When: November 19 through January 9
Where: Street Road and Route 263, Lahaska

While Peddler’s Village will not be holding their traditional Grand Illumination Celebration this year, they’ve stated that the lights WILL be on beginning November 19!

Walk around, do some shopping and check out the Gingerbread House Display.

Peddler’s Village Family Mystery Walking Tours: Elf on the Stealth:

When: Fridays, November 20 through January 10. Fridays at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Saturdays on the hour from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays on the hour from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Street Road and Route 263, Lahaska

It’s almost Christmas, and the Elf on the Shelf is missing! Join Mrs. Claus at the “North Pole” for a walking tour and help solve the mystery of the missing Elf on the Shelf.

Tickets are $25 per person. It does not include dinner, but you can enjoy dinner before or after the show and receive a 10% discount at select restaurants by showing your receipt.

Wild Lights at Elmwood Park Zoo

When: November 20-December 30, 2020, on select dates, 5-9pm.
Where: Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Boulevard, Norristown

Get ready to delight in animals, glistening lights and even Santa, himself, as Wild Lights, a holiday exhibition, returns to Elmwood Park Zoo! Enjoy new light attractions, even more animals on exhibit than before, stroll through “Oh Christmas Tree,” and be amazed by the glistening trees. Colebrookdale Railroad’s Santa’s Polar Bear Express

When: November 21, 2020-December 24, 2020; 10am-4pm
Where: Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust, 64 S. Washington Street, Boyertown

It’s never too early to indulge in familiar, comforting holiday cheer and what better way to usher in the holiday season than by hopping aboard a magical adventure train ride decked out to nines?!

All Polar Bear Express trains will provide gifts for every child and the opportunity for children to even compose their own letters to Santa!

November Open House at Keystone N Trak

When: Saturday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 100 N. 2nd Street, North Wales

Celebrate National Model Railroad Month by stopping by Keystone N Trak. See the new layout! Entry will be limited to small groups of 6 or so at a time. Masks are required. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
