Skippack Scarecrow Festival at Floral & Hardy
When: September 19 & September 20, 10am-3pm
Where: Floral & Hardy, 4007 Skippack Pike, Skippack
Bring your friends and family and build your own scarecrow! With the help of an instructor, attendees will stay in their assigned, socially-distanced pod to create their own creature. Then finish your design at a painting station! Requires pre-registration HERE and $20.
Breakfast with the Giraffes at the Elmwood Park Zoo
When: Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20 at 9 a.m.
Where: Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Road, Norristown
Wake up and refuel amid the giraffes at Elmwood Park Zoo, socially-distanced style. Enjoy breakfast favorites, then hand feed the giraffes! Must make reservation and book online in advance via WEBSITE. This event always sells out, so book your table now!
Cars Under the Stars: The Goonies
When: Sunday, September 20; Gates open at 7:30pm and the movie begins at 8:30pm.
Where: Arasapha Farm, 1835 Middletown Road, Glen Mills
Enjoy a movie from the comfort of your own car under the twinkling night sky. This weekend’s movie is The Goonies. For $25 per vehicle, this drive-in movie event is limited to 150 cars and tickets must be purchased in advance, online via the WEBSITE.
Mazes and Hayrides Wilcox Farms
When: Open Friday through Sunday
Where: 1134 Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512
Over 8 miles of trails wind through a 25-acre maze of corn. The large maze is actually made up of many small ones, with a Gargoyle theme, this year. Little ones looking for fun will enjoy the smaller Owl-themed corn maze or the hay bale maze. Flashlights are available to rent (or bring your own) for fun after dark.
