St. Patty’s Day Hike and Treasure Hunt
March 20th 1-4pm
Pickering Creek Inn, 37 Bridge St., Phoenixville, Pa. 19460
Hikers will start the afternoon off at 1:00 PM meeting in the parking lot behind the Pickering Creek Inn, at the end of Bridge Street in Phoenixville. The group will walk from Phoenixville, across the Schuylkill River and down the towpath to Lock 60.
Once reaching the Lock 60 picnic grove, children of all ages can join in with a Treasure Hunt. Gold coins will be scattered throughout the field to be gathered by the children; the coins are then turned in for prizes at the Locktender’s House after the hunt.
Meadowlark, a well-known duo – Jansen Wendell and Elisa Lang – will perform Irish music for all to enjoy inside the house.
And, don’t miss the lock opening at 3 PM, weather permitting! A steady rain will cancel the hike and treasure hunt; the Locktender’s Open House will still be held.
Great Narberth Leprechaun Hunt
Saturday, March 12, 2016 – from 1pm to 4pm
(*The Hunt continues until 4pm or until prizes run out)
In this free family event in downtown Narberth, kids search the town trying to win a prize by finding ten hidden Leprechauns.
The NBA “Blarney” Booth at the corner of Haverford and Forrest Ave is the starting point, where kids get a game card with clues and an empty black plastic pot-o’-gold. Then the search continues through the town for ten hidden leprechauns. Once they’ve found all the leprechauns, and have all ten chocolate coins, the kids return to the NBA booth for their prize – a shiny golden U.S. Dollar coin!

Ted the Fiddler will be providing Irish and folk music.
Come enjoy the afternoon free of charge; however, donation will gladly be accepted.
Children of all ages can join in with a treasure and scavenger hunt with adult supervision.

Conshohocken St. Patty’s Day Parade
The parade will be on Saturday, March 14th, with a 1:00 pm line-up and a 2:00 pm start at 11th Avenue and Fayette Street in Conshohocken (see map below). The route is along Fayette St from 11th Ave to Elm St (all downhill). It will end in front of the Washington Fire Company. Note that shuttles will be leaving from AOH Hall to the parade site. The last bus will be leaving at 1:00 sharp. Please wear black pants and shoes along with your Division Jacket. If you don’t have a division jacket you are still welcome to participate. We are in need of Parade Marshals to line up the participants in the parade. Contact 610-666-1989 if you wish to help out or for any information. Theme set for the parade The theme of the parade will be announced. After the parade During and after the parade, pubs and restaurants along the route will be hosting parties. Note that shuttles will be leaving from the parade site to AOH Hall. The last bus will be leaving at 5:00 sharp. Entertainment at the AOH Hall will be provided beginning at 5pm. Food will again be available to everyone at a reasonable price! THE DRUIDS Irish Band from Co. Kildare Ireland burst on to the music scene early in 2009. They now play to packed houses where ever they play. In 2010 and 2011 THE DRUIDS played over 500 shows which seen the band complete tours of Scotland, Ireland Europe and the USA. THE DRUIDS also played at the world famous Barrowlands in April 2010. The lads played Santa Ponsa Spain for the World CELTIC FC Supporters Convention to over 10,000 fans.
THE DRUIDS won Best Band at “The Leinster Entertainment Award 2011”. They also won The Songs of Struggle award in Germany 2011. In 2012 the band received the album of the year for their Starry Plough album.
