Summer is almost upon us, and with it comes the most anticipated holiday of the season! There is so much fun to be had in Montgomery County this 4th of July. So grab your friends and family and head over to one of the fantastic Independence Day events!

Celebrate the 4th of July with the Springfield Township Rotary Club
Wednesday June 29th – Saturday, July 2nd 2016.
Springfield Township High School at 309 & Papermill Road.

The Rotary Club of Springfield Township is celebrating its 10th Anniversary Carnival this year! The event will kickoff on Wednesday, June 29th with the main event taking place on Saturday, July 2nd! Food, fun, rides and raffles will be included in this Independence Day extravaganza! Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, carnival hours are 6-10pm with “wrist band night” taking place on Thursday June 30th. Saturday will feature a $10 wristband special from 3-6pm, and the carnival will run 3-10pm with fireworks beginning at dusk to cap off the night!

Fireworks – FREE other events may have a fee

Bring your friends and family out to enjoy the best fireworks show in the region! Lots of carnival fun during the day will lead into a fantastic fireworks display at night! The carnival will run nightly from Tuesday June 28th through Saturday July 2nd. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the carnival goes from 6pm to 10pm with special all you can ride wristbands. Friday and Saturday rides are available with tickets (no wristbands).

Stone & Key Cellar’s Music Series

Here’s some adult summer fun for only $10 a ticket, which includes a $5 coupon towards your first wine or cider. The Stone & Key Cellar is having a music series called “Cabaret Merlot”. Full menu of wines and ciders, and guests may bring food!

This event will have a DJ, food & drinks, lots of community fun and of course, fireworks go off at dark!

Glenside’s “Real Americana” July 4th Independence Day celebration!
Monday July 4th, 2016, 10am – 10pm

Harry Renninger Memorial Park, Keswick Avenue and Waverly Road, Glenside, PA &
Abington Senior High & Middle School, 900 Highland Ave, Abington, PA 19001.

This three-tiered event is one you don’t want to miss! It kicks off with a ‘We Love America’ children’s morning program from 10am – 12:30pm at Renninger Memorial Park in Cheltenham Township. Festivities for 2,000 some attendees include decorated bike/stroller/float parades and competitive, award-winning field/sports contests, followed by lunchtime refreshments. Next comes the “Grand, Glorious, Patriotic Parade” at 4 p.m. This parade is over two hours long and marches 1.5-miles through American flag adorned streets. What began in 1904, is now among America’s oldest, consecutively run July 4th parades. The finale event begins at 9pm just after the sun goes down. They call it their “America the Beautiful Aerial Fireworks Spectacular”. The fireworks display is located at Abington Senior High & middle school grounds. All events are admission free!

Narberth Signature 4th of July Celebration

Narberth Park becomes a carnival of fun family activities, with food, parades, races, contests, carnival games, a dunking booth and much more. At night there is an amazing fireworks display, worthy of any town, which attracts thousands of neighbors from the communities in and around the Main Line.

Waltz Golf Farm Firework Display
Monday, July 4th, 8am-10pm
Waltz Golf Farm, 303 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 

Waltz Golf Farm features two miniature golf courses, a batting cage, Gemstone & Fossil panning, and much more! There is a snack bar for refreshments and an ice-cream bar that serves only the best locally made ice cream and water ice! The farm will end its day with a fireworks display, starting at 9:45pm!

Skippack 4th of July Parade & Fireworks

Parade begins at 11am and travels down route 73 through the heart of Skippack Village. BBQ at Parc Bistro at 3pm and fireworks at dusk!

Independence Day Concert & Fireworks

Eagleville Park, 100 Parklane Drive, Eagleville, PA, 19403.  

Concert begins at 6:30 with fireworks at dusk! Food, family and fun complete this community tradition! Rain date: Tuesday, July 5th.
