Bring the family Montco, and come even if you don’t run! There will be fun for everyone this year at the 3rd Annual Montgomery County 5K & Half Mile Kids Fun Run. There will be free food from Hatfield Quality Meats, educational information, arts and crafts displays, face painting, games, carnival activities, massage chairs and more! On average the American Red Cross responds to 2 to 3 disasters each night throughout the Southeastern Pennsylvania Region. With our help, they will have the resources necessary to respond to the needs of victims of disaster 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The massage station is courtesy of The Spa at LSB. The Lansdale School of Business will be bringing out 4-5 massage chairs and some students and faculty for the day. The photo booth is courtesy of A+ Entertainment from Harleysville. The face painter is Jennifer Schuster of Sunny Face Painting. PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) is setting up a little station and bringing some of their dogs for adoption and some giveaways. If that wasn’t enough, Harleysville Fire Fighters will be in attendance with a truck for all the kids to see! Awards will be given, fun will be had, and all for a great cause.
