The Best Kept Secrets Tour is
returning to Montgomery County!
The Spring tour runs April 16th to May 2nd, Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. As participants on the tour, 27 small business owners throughout Montgomery County will pool their talents, time, and resources to create a county-wide event. This is a unique shopping event that is not only fun for all involved, but also helps bolster the local economy and will raise funds for the Keystone Opportunity Center, a Montgomery County organization that helps community members in need by offering a comprehensive array of social services that educate, encourage, and empower them to become self-sufficient.
Tickets are $9 with $1 per ticket donated to The Keystone Opportunity Center.
Ticket information is available at www.shopmontcotour.com or by calling 267-329-9032.
The Best Kept Secrets Tour is set up like a home or garden tour except it is for shopping, food, and fun. Tour goers visit the 27 businesses in their own vehicles and at their own pace–travelling place to place enjoying all the special free things (refreshments, games, gifts, demonstrations, tours, etc.) the businesses have planned. The shops are hand-picked for their uniqueness and are varied so there’s something for everyone— unusual home, garden, and gift stores in historic buildings, local favorite cafés and restaurants, amazing florists and nurseries with everything you need for spring, a museum, thrift and consignment shops, shops with vintage items, antiques, artisan items, pottery, books, clothing, furniture, jewelry, candy, specialty foods, homemade organic skin products and so much more!
Started in Lancaster County by Melissa Nordhoff in 2008, the Tour has raised over $58,000 to date for Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery, York, Northampton, Carbon/Monroe, and Chester County charities and has generated huge amounts of traffic and sales for local small businesses which strengthens the local economy overall. We are excited to continue to bring the power and energy of this tour to Montgomery County. Visit www.bestkeptsecretstour.com for information on this and other tours in the area.
