12th Annual Members’ Party
Sun., February 28, 2016
This annual Members Party will be celebrating film and the support of our over 1,000 current members, for the 12th year in a row! Watch the 2016 Academy Awards ceremony live in the Colonial Theatre with fellow members and staff while enjoying delicious food and drink.
The bar will be open all night during the Oscar broadcast and all guests who intend to drink (regardless of arrival time) are asked to bring wine or beer to donate to our bar: one bottle or a chilled six-pack per guest. There will be plenty of desserts on hand for all guests.
Attending at 8:30 PM? Interested in dinner reservations? Current members who present their membership cards on Oscar Night can enjoy these discounts at Phoenixville restaurants:

About the Party:
- Those members who registered for the 7PM arrival time are invited to join us at 7PM.
- All other members who RSVP for 8:30PM are invited to join us at 8:30PM (no earlier than 8:15 please), in time for the Oscar broadcast.
- Our costume contest will be open to all three categories this year: Film Costume, Formal Wear, and Pajamas. Prizes will be given in all three categories.
- The fabulous Oscar and the Colonials will return as our swingin stage band!
- Light food and desserts provided from 7-9PM, and ask that each guest brings a bottle of wine, (chilled) champagne or six packs of (chilled) beer to donate to our bar. No hard liquor, please.
- Answer movie trivia questions during the commercial breaks and win your own Oscar statue and prize.
- Our annual Oscar pool is available now in the theatre lobby. Winners will be contacted by Tue, March 1st and announced in that week’s email newsletter.
What to Wear:
You can wear whatever you’d like to the party! It is however, encourage to dress in one of the following three categories:
formal wear, pajamas, or in costume inspired by one of this years nominees!

You’re invited to the Hiway Theater Awards Viewing Party! A casual evening get together as a community to celebrate Jenkintown and the year in film.
On Sunday, February 28th join for a live broadcast of the biggest night in Hollywood, presented in stunning HD. We will open the doors for the pre-show at 7:30PM and the awards ceremony begins at 8:30PM. Admission gets you FREE popcorn, fountain drinks, and hot drinks all night – PLUS light dessert courtesy of Velvet Sky Bakery!
We’ll be handing out fill-in ballots so you can play along with the show. Come wearing your tuxes or gowns for our Best Dressed contest; winners will receive movie related prizes!
