Ms. Patricia Forrest and Ms. Francine Lee-Kim facilitated workshops will assist students in creating and assembling entries on Thursday, January 19, 2017 and Thursday, February 2, 2017.   Materials were provided to assist students in creating their entries.  Classroom projects were also welcome to enter.  Student entries may be submitted in multiple Artistic and Horticultural classes until Monday, February 13, 2017.

Judges from the PHS will come to Highland on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.  Ribbons will be awarded to all participants in several categories.

Highland’s Best of Show in Grades K-2, 3-5, and 6 will be on display at the Philadelphia Flower Show in March.

Highland expects to impact the lives of the children that are involved in this project.  While the measurable outcome of the project will be the number of entries, the immeasurable outcome will be the feeling of pride, community, and appreciation of art and horticulture that this event will provide to all involved.
