Arden (aka Sophia)
I am listed as Arden but I go by Sophie now. I am a very cute and affectionate 5 year old, 18 pound Dachshund/Manchester Terrier mix with an incredibly soft coat. I am housebroken, crate trained and know all of the basic commands like sit, down, come and stay. I am afraid of new people and dogs until I get to know them but I am very food motivated and eager to please. My foster family has been working with a trainer and I am making great progress but a quieter home with no cats or small children would be best for me. If you are a calm, patient person who wants to add some cute doggie love and affection to your life, then you may be the perfect home for me! They need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can’t foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too!
