Going Out

With all of the great bar and restaurant options in Montco, it couldn’t be easier to plan a perfect night out with your girlfriends.

Dinner – Farmer’s Daughter, Blue Bell

Located inside Normandy Farms, Farmer’s Daugther is equal parts comforting and chic. Serving up “modern farm cooking”, you and your friends will find a seasonal menu highlighted by locally sourced ingredients. If you want to make your Galentine’s Day extra special you can even consider booking one of their private rooms to keep your party intimate. Their wine room holds up to 16 people and will set an intimate, cozy tone for your night out.

Drinks – Dettera Restaurant & Wine Bar, Ambler

Known for having one of the best wine lists in Montco, Dettera won’t disappoint any wine-lover on Galentine’s Day. Their wine list is almost four pages long and has options to fit all pallets, interests, and budgets. If cocktails are more your thing, try their Sangria Verde made with Chardonnay, elderflower liquor, melon, green apple, and mint, or their Blood Orange Blossom featuring orange vodka, orange liquor, blood orange puree, and honey.

Activity – DeMay After Dark, DeMay Spa, Limerick

If a night of relaxation sounds like a dream for you and your girls, then DeMay After Dark is just what you need. There are two packages available to you and your girls, the Massage or Facials with Friends, or the Sundown Slowdown. The only difference between the two is the price, and with the Sundown Slowdown, you and your friends receive both an LED facial and a Swedish massage, while with the first package, you will choose between either the facial or massage.

Both work best for parties between four and six people and you are allowed to bring your favorite beverages and food.

The result is a delicious, smooth wine that will for sure be a crowd-pleaser.

Remember doing homemade facemasks with your girlfriends during slumber parties? Well, Galentine’s Day is the best time to bring back that tradition, just with a more sophisticated approach.
