The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Hatboro Sidewalk Sale, Craft Fair and Pet Rescue on Saturday, September 22, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

“We are very pleased to offer this free annual Hatboro event to bring members of our area communities together for a festive day of family fun, and to promote awareness of the need for pet adoptions, and the importance of electronic and scrap metal recycling,” says Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce President Joseph J. Tryon, Jr.

Hatboro merchants will be displaying goods and offer event specials in front of their shops. Arts and crafts vendors will display their work along York Road from Montgomery Avenue south to Lehman Avenue. There will be live entertainment, and a free Shoppers’ Trolley, courtesy of Hatboro Federal Savings, which will transport folks from one end of town to the other. Parking is free.

Area pet rescue groups will be on the front lawn of the Hatboro Baptist Church with some four-footed friends to provide information about pet adoption and their organizations services. There will also be vendors at this event who will offer pet-related products.

For the second consecutive year, a Community Computer & Electronic Recycling Event will be held this same day in the Hatboro Federal Savings parking lot from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Representatives from 611 Metals Recycling in Pipersville, will be accepting car and truck batteries, cell phones, computer equipment, computers, copiers, household electronics, scrap metals, stereos, DVD players, microwaves, FAX machines, ink/toner, modems, and more.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce, located at 120 S. York Road, Suite 6, hosts special and annual events to support area businesses, both large and small, including the Halloween Stroll, Holiday Parade and Moonlight Memories Car Show. The car show is now in its 20th year, and drew more than 50,000 visitors to Hatboro this July.
