Mark your calendars and start letting your hair grow wild because The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is shaving it’s way to Montco this March! What started as a challenge between friends has now evolved into the world’s fastest growing volunteer-driven fundraising opportunity benefiting childhood cancer research. This inspiring fundraiser will be hosted in Horsham at a spacious facility thanks to all the dedicated individuals at Chapman’s Auto. So rally up the troops, share this with as many people as you can, and come show you care by losing some hair!!!
Men, women and children as well as groups are encouraged to participate in St. Baldrick’s. A station will be set up as well for those that want to donate their hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths or Locks of Love. The buzz will start around 1pm and continue until 4pm on March 22nd, 2014. That gives us plenty of time to help spread awareness through our community in the coming months, stay tuned with Montco Happening and St. Baldrick’s for all the latest news and info.
Message from St. Baldrick’s
“Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick’s event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you’ll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you’ll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers”.
Be A Shavee!
