The Sugarloaf Crafts Festivals Fall Tour will be making its stop in the Philadelphia area this weekend. You can enjoy this unique shopping and artistic experience at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA from Friday, November 2 through Sunday, November 4.

For more than 40 years, Sugarloaf Craft Festivals have been some of the nation’s best, largest, and most fun craft shows. In fact, it’s consistently ranked in the top 50 craft shows in the world. This will be the 10th year that the traveling craft show will make an appearance at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Over 300 artists and crafters will present their handmade creations. With the holidays quickly approaching, this is a wonderful opportunity to purchase some truly unique gifts.

While this time of year is extremely popular for local craft shows, the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival prides itself on being something different. A selection jury chooses each artist based on quality of design, workmanship and materials. The focus here is on contemporary crafts and fine art. You’ll find high quality jewelry, pottery, textiles, forged metal, specialty foods and more.

To add to the experience, the 3-day event also features live art demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Observe metal spinning and glass blowing, and you can even take part in a sculpting or learn to paint workshop. Middle Earth Studio’s costume theatre will provide storytelling for the kids, and there will be live modern jazz music from several bands.

When: Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, November 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
