The region’s premiere Talking Heads tribute, Start Making Sense, will make their return to the Ardmore Music Hall for a New Year’s Eve bash. Philly funk phenoms Swift Technique will open up the night.

To take on a tribute to the Talking Heads is no easy task, as the band experienced several sonic changes throughout the span of their career- and Start Making Sense have proven that they are up to the challenge.  Together this 7-piece ensemble brings much of the Heads’ unique live show to the stage, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, giving you a “Once in a Lifetime” experience.  Prepare yourself for a rockin’, funkin’, danceable celebration of the new-wave art punk you loved from the 80’s!

“To all you listeners… This is an appropriate title. This band makes plenty of sense to me, and is a great representation of Talking Heads’ music…”

– Bernie Worrell (Keyboardist for Talking Heads & Parliament Funkadelic).

Pro-tip: Make sure to arrive on time! Coming off of a fiery 10th year in business, Philadelphia’s own Swift Technique will open up the night with their unique brand of soulfully infused funky dance music!
