Take the whole family for a walk back in time and among the dinosaurs of the Jurassic period during Jurassic Quest, May 5-7 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Jurassic Quest is an experiential exhibition of life-size animatronic dinosaurs, over 80 in all. Visitors can walk among the exhibits and learn about these special creatures, interact with the baby dinosaurs and perhaps take a ride on one of five different moving dinosaurs.

The event also includes lots of activities including crafts, face painting, fossil dig pits where young paleontologists can uncover bones like in a real expedition and a science center to test your knowledge and create a plaster fossil mold to take home. Kids can also jump around in the many dinosaur themed bounce house inflatables or practice running away from a long-toothed terror in the bungee pull attraction.

Throughout the day, the baby dinosaurs come out for 30 minutes of play time with their admirers. Children can pet the babies and ask questions of the trainers. The larger “teen” dinos, a T-Rex and a Spinosaurus, also walk about the exhibit or in their exercise pens and provide lots of time for close up interaction with event guests.

Jurassic Quest is open on Fri., May 5 from 3-8 pm, Sat. May 6 from 9 am to 8 pm and Sun., May 7 from 9 am to 7 pm. Parking is free at the Expo Center and full-service concessions are also available. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended and can be done online. The Expo Center is located at 100 Station Ave. in Oaks, PA 19456.
