This August, one lucky Montco Happening reader will win the ride of summer 2012- a historic ride from New Hope to Lansdale aboard the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.  The rare trip will take place on August 25th in honor of Lansdale’s Founders Day celebration, which marks the 140th anniversary of the town.

This isn’t just any old train ride. We’re talking about a vintage train ride through scenic Bucks & Montgomery Counties complete with early 1900′s coaches, rich mahogany interiors, an authentic uniformed staff, a bellowing steam engine, and a fully stocked bar!  Plus, all passengers will  leave with a commemorative classic train ticket to remember the big day.

While these sought-after tickets run $79 – $99, we’ve got our hands on 2 tickets to award to 1 lucky reader!

So how can YOU enter to win seats on this awesome railroad adventure?

In the spirit of stepping back in time aboard New Hope Railroad’s vintage 1900’s coach train, we want to know:

If you could live in any decade of the past, when would you choose and why?

All aboard!
