Take a “first look” at weather during a Winds and Weather program at Norristown Farm Park on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 1:00pm. The beginning of winter is a great time to investigate the local atmosphere. Is it possible to tell what the weather will be by looking at the clouds? Learn about the sun, air temperature, cloud types, wind, precipitation, and other things. Make a weather craft. At the end of the program participants will go outside to look at the sky and experience current conditions. Meet in the salt wing of the barn.
This program is suitable for children ages three and older with adult accompaniment. There is a $5.00 fee per child. Preregistration is required. Please call 610-270-0215 to preregister.
