On Sunday May 8th, the gentleman of Saint Miriam Catholic Parish & Friary are set to honor all women on Mother’s Day! All of us have that special woman in our lives. The one who has left a long and lasting impact, the one who we could not imagine life without. Whether it’s your wife, daughter, mother, sister or friend, this special event at Saint Miriam’s is all about giving thanks for who they are, and how much they truly mean to us. The Gentlemen of Saint Miriam have created this event to help show their appreciation and gratitude for the women in their parish by volunteering to help make this a very special day for the ladies within the parish, and to all visitors alike!

Not only is this the perfect opportunity to give thanks to the women in our lives, it’s also a great way to meet the members of the Saint Miriam community. Originally based in Blue Bell, the progressively open Catholic church has moved to a beautiful new campus in Flourtown. The new location offers stunning views, historical architecture, a peaceful setting, and a community full of open arms. mothersday_flowers1024-595x297

For the beloved women we have lost in our lives, Saint Miriam offers a special intentions page on their website where anyone can write a lasting memorial for the one they love. Every mother who joins the parish on Mother’s Day will receive fresh flowers, but more importantly, they will receive the kind of support and appreciation that foolishly, is sometimes taken for granted. To bring some fun into the day, a photo booth will be available to snap a free photo with you and your family. Come give thanks, make some great memories, and enjoy all that Saint Miriam Parish & Friary has to offer our local community.  Mother’s Day Mass will take place on Sunday, May 8th at the 11:00am morning Mass, so bring mom and the children and make this Mother’s Day a special one.
