With summertime winding down, it’s time to prep the family for Back To School! Ease into your fall transitions with the 2016 Montgomery County Back to School Guide, your guide to affordable Back to School Fashion, important events happening at local schools, and after school activities.
Your Back to School Guide is sponsored by Upper Merion Parks & Recreation, who will be hosting its Community Center ribbon cutting event on Monday, September 5, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.
The Community Center is a state-of-the-art building, equipped with kitchens, art studios, a fitness room, multiple athletic courts, free wifi, and many other great amenities. Members will receive free childcare while using the facility, as well as 15% discount on Upper Merion programs and trips, and 25% discount on pool memberships. The facility is also home to the Upper Merion Senior Service Center, providing a computer center and great room – among other amenities – to senior residents.
The official opening date of the Community Center remainsTuesday September 6, 2016. At that time individuals, organizations and groups, and businesses can schedule tours and enrollment begins.
