Within Montgomery County, an abundance of tree farms and pop-up tree locations exist to make the tree hunting experience both special and memorable. Whether you and your family prefer walking through the field and chopping your own tree by hand, purchasing a pre-cut tree from the lot or picking it up curbside, there is an option to meet all needs this holiday season. Multiple options are provided at Hague’s to ensure customers receive the specific Christmas tree of their choice. You can choose and cut your own tree and make it an experience. They offer a variety of trees which include Nordman Fir, Scotch Pine, White Pine, White Spruce and Blue Spurce. Choose and cut is open from November 29th while supplies last. Hours are Monday-Friday from 1 pm – 5 pm and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Closed on Sundays.

Santa will be in the Fountain Court to capture this year’s holiday memories. Reservations are encouraged but not required. Digital photo packages are available with options to purchase prints and a family portrait. Santa hours are Monday – Friday, 12 pm – 8 pm (break time 3-4 pm), Saturday 10 am – 8 pm (break time 1-2 pm & 4:30-5:30 pm) and Sunday, noon – 6 pm (break time 2:30 – 3 pm).
Santa at Willow Grove Park Mall

Santa and the Mensch will be at the Shops at Valley Square on select dates in December. There is no charge for photos, but it is kindly requested that a donation be made to Santa/Mensch’s chosen rescue: Sam’s Hope. Photos are taken with their/your cell phone. After your photo, stop at the front desk to spin the prize wheel where your pup can win a % off your purchase, free treats, toys, etc.

Holiday Season at Peddler’s Village

Peddler’s Village is always a popular holiday destination in Bucks County! Shop unique specialty shops, enjoy the lights, and check out all of the holiday festivities. Santa will make appearances throughout the season at Giggleberry Fair and special dining events. Click here for more details. Peddler’s Village also hosts a Holly Jolly Weekend on December 4th and 5th with Santa Parades starting at 1:30 pm both days. On December 10th, Santa visits Sweet Occasions and will be there for photos and reading a Christmas story to the children. Gingerbread decorating workshops are on December 16th from 5 pm – 8 pm.
Wild Lights at Elmwood Park Zoo

A Longwood Christmas

Holiday Tours at Historic Pennypacker Mills

One of Montgomery County’s most spectacular historic houses will dazzle you from the front door through the lavish first floor, entertaining venues to the more private rooms for family and friends. Each year, there is something new to discover about Christmas, when Governor Samuel Pennypacker and his family lived in the home. Hear about the decorations, wrapped presents and how the Pennypackers celebrated the holidays.

Skippack Village Holiday Workshops

Participate in Skippack Village Winter Container Workshops. Create your own festive winter container for your front doorstep. You’ll use a variety of evergreens, berries and other seasonal items for your design. Bring your own gardening gloves and pruners or purchase them at the workshop with a discount. Cost is $55 plus tax. Pricing is a la carte for materials and soil if you bring your own container.
Carnival of Lights

Where: Gilberstville Community Ambulance, 91 Jackson Road, Gilbertsville
Walk through over 250,000 holiday lights and figurines filling over 11 acres of ground, all set in time to your favorite holiday music. Ride the amusement rides with admission. Swing through the air like Santa’s Sleigh or ride the Ferris Wheel with over 10,000 lights. This year features even more rides for all ages. Visit with Santa and bring your Christmas list. There will be holiday and carnival food, games and a marketplace. New Year’s Fireworks will be held on December 30th.
Variety’s Holiday Lane

Where: Variety – The Children’s Charity, 2950 Potshop Road, Worcester, PA
From December 1-4, Variety will transform its 77-acre campus into a winter wonderland. This exciting event includes themed decorated cabins, a holiday craft bazaar, live entertainment, strolling characters, complimentary hot coca, various children’s activities, a warm bonfire, and festive outdoor decorations. Walk or drive along the festive Holiday Lane.
The 22nd Annual 92.5 XTU Toy Truck Parade
When: Saturday, December 11, 2021
Join Philadelphia-based country music radio station, 92.5 XTU at Xfinity Live! for their annual toy truck parade! They will be collecting toys for the Liberty USO and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Camden County.
