Local farms and artisan food producers are still planting seeds and creating masterpieces, preparing for market season. Markets around Montgomery County still plan to provide to customers the freshest local food available, including fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared foods, and other products, while maintaining social distancing procedures to keep everyone safe. The following markets are scheduled to open with some necessary precautions. They ask that customers wear a mask, some have specified certain hours for shopping to keep crowds organized, and some have added online shopping options.

Visit a farmers market soon! The produce is fresher, it lasts longer, there’s less handling than in the big grocery stores since it’s going from the grower to the customer, and on top of it all … you’re supporting small local businesses.
