The calendar has officially turned to March which means it’s time to start planning your Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations!  From classes and festivals to parades and pub crawls, there are plenty of ways to partake in the festivities happening in Montco and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re Irish, or just Irish at heart, there’s no wrong way to celebrate, so pick out your best green shirt, grab your friends, and may your day be touched by some Irish luck!

Authentic Europe

St. Patrick’s Passing Murder Mystery Dinner 

When: March 17, 6:00 – 10:00 PM

Where: William Penn Inn 1017 Dekalb Pike Gwynedd, PA 19436

Grab your pals and put your detective hats on this St. Patrick’s Day as you help solve a murder mystery at the William Penn Inn during this interactive theatre production! The plot? As the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade inches closer, every community, business, and campus Group scrambles to enter a second-prize-worthy float. The competition is fierce, and it has been rumored that contestants have been driven to deception, manipulation, and violence – even the edge of murder – to win.  When Sean, a local handyman, goes mysteriously missing, it’ll be up to you to discover what happened to him.

Tickets include a three-course dinner featuring Caesar salad, boneless short ribs and chicken Francaise, and a chocolate Guinness cake to finish off the evening.

Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party 

When: March 17, 7:00 – 10:00 PM

Where: The Historic Brick Building | 26 East Franklin Street Media, PA 19063

Young Adults (age 21-40ish) are invited to Nativity BVM’s 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party! The party will provide Guinness, beer, & cider, wine, and hearty Irish food. Live Irish music will be provided by Mike & Laura Tusay with Sean Henry on the bagpipes. There will also be a dance demonstration by the McHugh School of Irish Dance. Come celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick in style with other young adults! Tickets are limited, so don’t wait. Co-hosted by Nativity BVM’s Young Adult Ministry & the Knights of Columbus.

St. Patrick’s Day at the Brewhouse

When: March 17 – 19

Where: Brothers Kershner Brewing Co. | 4119 W Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474

Why limit St. Patrick’s Day to one night when you can celebrate all weekend? Head over to Brothers Kershner Brewing Co for three days worth of St. Patty’s festivities. The weekend will feature live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday plus plenty of great brews from Brothers Kershner Brewing Co. Delicious Irish food will be provided at the Italian Market next door to the brewery.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at MaGerk’s 

When: March 17th, 5:00 – 9:00 PM

Where: MaGerks Pub & Grill Horsham | 307 Horsham Rd, Horsham, PA, 19044

Head over to MaGerk’s Horsham on St. Patrick’s Day night if you want some good food and even better music. Reilly’s Daughter band will be performing with Tommy Conwell from 5:00 – 9:00 PM providing the night with some of the best Irish music around. In addition to the band, there will also be a performance by local Irish dancers. No cover charge.

Brittingham’s Pub

When: March 17th – 18th

One of Montco’s top Irish pubs is doubling down this St. Patrick’s day, offering two days of festivities to enjoy. Starting at noon on the 17th, Brittingham’s will host an array of Irish entertainment including Killen Clark, the Cummins School of Irish Dancers, The Paul Moore Band, and the Bare Knuckle Boxers. Saturday will feature Gerard O’Rourke and First Highland Watch. Enjoy all of this entertainment alongside Brittingham’s classic Irish food and you’ll be in a great mood all weekend long!

Steam Pub

When: March 17th – 18th

Where: Steam Pub | 606 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966

There is no shortage of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at Steam Pub this year. Starting on March 17th you can enjoy several different celebrations. Beginning at 1:00 PM Four for the Road, a female folk music group will perform followed by a performance by the Rince Ri Irish Dancers. Celtic Pride takes the stage at 5:00 to play Irish favorites as well as popular party music, followed by acoustic guitarist Brian Kmetz from 6:30 – 10:00 PM. DJ Ernesto closes out the evening with a set from 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM. But the party doesn’t stop on the 17th. Head back over on the 18th for another performance by the Rince Ri Irish Dancers and set from John David Valenteen, member of Amish Outlaws.

Conshohocken St. Patty’s Day 5K Classic 

When: March 11th

Where: 819 Fayette St Conshohocken, PA US 19428

Join in on the 10th annual Conshohocken St. Paddy’s Day 5K Classic ahead of the annual Conshohocken St. Patrick’s Day Parade!  The course will start on and finish at the Conshohocken Fire Co #2 at 8th and Fayette. Participants will run a double loop along Fayette St. All finishers will receive a medal and the race includes a t-shirt, refreshments, water stations, prizes, and a post-race St. Patrick’s Day party at the Boathouse!

Cutloose Studio Presents: Kegs and Eggs Workout

You know the old saying, you can’t drink all day unless you start the day with a kegs and eggs workout! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a 45-minute bodyweight, full-body workout designed for anybody with a body. After you put in your sweat session reward yourself with a great party! The party starts at 12 PM and is for all ages and friendly dogs are welcome! Chow down on delicious breakfast sandwiches from Weber’s BBQ and enjoy music from Brian Boru Pipes & Drums, and an amazing show from the Irish Dancers of Coyle School of Irish Dance throughout the day!

Conshohocken St. Patrick’s Day Parade 

When: March 11th,  2:00 – 5:00 PM

Where: Conshohocken | Fayette Street Conshohocken, PA 19428

The Saint Patrick’s Parade in Conshohocken is one of the biggest community events in Montgomery County attracting people from the Tri-County Area. The parade begins at 11th and Fayette Streets and heads right down Fayette Street. Frank Burton is the 2023 Grand Marshal and the parade will feature at least ten bands with Irish dancers. This year’s theme is “On the one Road” and Fayette Street is the one road to be on March 11th!!
