4th of July Celebration

Graeme Park, 859 County Line Rd, Horsham, PA
July 4th, 12pm – 2 pm

This 4th of July celebration honors the history of Independence Day. There will be a performance of the Star Spangled Banner, a reading of the Declaration of Independence by colonial costumed reenactors, and period dance performances by the Tapestry Historic Dance Ensemble. There will also be trivia, free ice cream, and guided tours of the Keith House after the reading. Kids can even try writing with a quill pen just like Thomas Jefferson did when he wrote the Declaration of Independence!

Dead White & Blue: Splintered Sunlight

Ardmore Music Hall, 23 E. Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA
July 4th – July 5th

This two-day event is a concert featuring Three Fourteen (Night 1) and John Kadlecik (Night 2). Doors open at 7:15 pm and the show starts at 8:30 pm. You must be 21 and older to attend, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Come and jam out this Independence Day!

Upper Merion Township’s Annual July 4th Celebration

Heuser Park, King of Prussia, PA
July 4th, 3pm – 10 pm

Upper Merion Township’s Annual July 4th Celebration is a day filled with games, carnival rides, live music and fireworks. Vendor trucks include over 15 businesses that will begin serving at 4:30 pm. The band Plush will perform at 5pm, followed by the firework show at approximately 9:15 pm. This event is free to the public.

Independence Day Commemoration at Valley Forge

Muhlenberg’s Brigade and the Visitor Center at Valley Forge, King of Prussia, PA
July 4th, 10 am – 4 pm

This event is a great opportunity to travel back in time to the first Independence Day! The day will include readings of the Declaration of Independence as well as artillery firing demonstrations that will take place at the firing range at Muhlenberg’s Brigade located behind the soldier huts. This is a free event.

Pottstown Patriotic 5K

Corner of Beech and Grant Streets, Pottstown, PA
July 4th, 8 am – 9:30 am

Runners will be decked out in red, white and blue attire for the 39th installment of the Pottstown Patriotic 5K. Afterwards, there will be a 4th of July Parade on the streets where the race took place. The cost to run is $32.50 until July 1st, and will increase to $35 after this date and on race day. A portion of the fees and 100% of donations will be put towards the Pottstown Parks and Rec Department.

Parades & Fireworks

July 4th Parade & Party in the Park

Elmwood Park on Harding Blvd, Norristown, PA
July 4th, 1 pm- 10 pm

This annual celebration is a great way to kick off the 4th of July festivities. The parade will begin at St. Francis Church on Marshall Street and will end on Harding Boulevard. Participants should arrive for the lineup at 12:30 pm. This event will take place rain or shine, so show out to support the community.

Ambler Kiwanis Carnival and Fireworks

521 Houston Rd, Ambler, PA
July 1st – July 5th

This event is a five-night carnival that includes rides, food, Funnel Cake and games. A firework show will take place on July 2nd, with a rain date of July 3rd. The display will kick off a celebration of 100 years of Ambler Kiwanis serving the community.

Glenside July 4th Events

Glenside, PA
July 4th

This event includes 3 main attractions: a morning children’s program in a local park, a huge parade at 4pm, and finally, a firework spectacular show. The firework display will take place above Abington High School’s athletic and playing fields, and admission to the day’s activities is free. According to the website, this event has become “the biggest family-friendly Independence Day Celebration in Greater Philadelphia’s tri-state suburbs.”

Skippack Village 4th of July Parade

Palmer Park, Collegeville, PA
July 4th

This Independence Day celebration includes a parade at 11 am, a barbecue at Parc Bistro at 3 pm, and ends with a fireworks display at dusk. Admission is free to this annual event.

Narberth July 4th Family Fun & Fireworks

Narberth, PA
July 4th

This event has been made possible by an all-volunteer group. The day will include carnival and field games, and the evening will consist of a concert and fireworks.
