America 250: 4th of July Celebration & Reading of the Declaration
Graeme Park, 859 County Line Rd, Horsham, PA
July 4th, 12pm – 2 pm
Join Graeme Park as they celebrate 250 years of freedom and independence with a performance of the Star Spangled Banner and a reading of the Declaration of Independence by their colonial costumed reenactors. The Tapestry Historic Dance Ensemble will be demonstrating period dances and there will be free ice cream (while supplies last), and kids (or adults) can try their hand at writing with a quill pen just like Thomas Jefferson used when he penned the Declaration. The Keith House will be open for tours following the reading.
This event is FREE and does not require advanced registration!

Pottstown Patriotic 5K
Corner of Beech and Grant Streets, Pottstown, PA
July 4th, 8 am
Runners will be decked out in red, white and blue attire for the 39th installment of the Pottstown Patriotic 5K. Afterwards, there will be a 4th of July Parade on the streets where the race took place. The cost to run is $32.50 until July 1st, and will increase to $35 after this date and on race day. A portion of the fees and 100% of donations will be put towards the Pottstown Parks and Rec Department.
