Brooke Elementary's 2016 Color Me Fun Run

The Brooke Elementary School in Royersford will be hosting their annual fundraiser, the “Color Me Fun Run” this March! This local event is the perfect way to get the kids out of the house for some fun and exercise….plus it’s all for a great cause! This will be a 1 mile run (2 laps on the track), or a 5k (6 laps), untimed, unofficial run, jog or walk that emphasizes healthy living and competitive fun. There will be color check points where family, friends, and volunteers will gently throw colored cornstarch on your shirt. Participants should wear white t-shirts to get the most color!

Proceeds from the Color Run will help benefit the Brooke Home and School Association. Just two laps will help make a huge difference in the lives of so many students. Come join the more than 500 participants from in and around our region and help make this the brightest Color Run yet!

The Brooke Home & School Association
The mission of the Brooke Home & School is to enhance communication between the families, teachers and staff at Brooke and within the local community. Additionally, it is to support their teachers and to enrich the students’ educational experiences. The Association also hope to increase community interest in the education processes that happen at Brooke. They provide funding for the children to participate in assemblies, family activity nights, student field trips, free reading books and other needs of the school and children that are not provided in the school budget.
